We’re looking to expand our dynamic, hard-working, innovative, and fast-paced team of professionals to support the accelerated growth of our company. We have an immediate need for a (Pre-Sales) Solutions Engineer to join our sales and business development team. The Solutions Engineer is responsible for presenting EverythingBenefits’ solutions and architecture to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in the company’s product capabilities and technology infrastructure, and answer technical questions in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solutions Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure, and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

Candidate’s responsibilities will include:

  • Become proficient and certified in all of our solutions and sales messaging
  • Stay on top of continued evolution of our company’s products and services
  • Understand the needs of specific target audiences and establish how best the company's solutions address those needs
  • Develop and deliver effective product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the client’s technical requirements and audience
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on strategy and support marketing with evangelist activities (writing blogs, participating in demo-driven webinars, and speaking at industry events, etc.)
  • Collaborate with sales team to respond effectively to RFPs

What’s the necessary background and experience for this Solutions Engineer role?

  • 3+ years of relevant hands-on product demo and solution engineer experience preferably in a context of B2B and/or SaaS
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage time, multitask, and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Stellar English verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills with strong attention to detail and follow-up
  • A true passion for technology and an ability to translate that passion into measurable business impact for customers and prospects
  • Additional Desired Attributes:
  • Insurance / benefits / workforce management industry experience
  • Background in IT and/or Sales
